Cristin Severance

Cristin is a Consumer & Investigative Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) and Reporter at 10News. Prior to joining 10News, she was a MMJ and Reporter for the Ohio News Network at NewsChannel5 in Cleveland, Ohio. In Cleveland, Cristin did several investigations into the illegal activities at Ohio massage parlors. The parlors were eventually raided by the Ohio Attorney General's Office and shut-down. She was also one of the first reporters to shed light on human trafficking issues in Northeast Ohio through a series of in-depth and exclusive reports. 

 
Her career includes being a reporter and anchor at WINK in Fort Myers, Florida; weekend anchor at WKBN in Youngstown, Ohio; and reporter/anchor at WDTV in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She is thrilled to now call San Diego home. 
 
Cristin is an Emmy award winning journalist. Her work has also been recognized by The Associated Press, The Society of Professional Journalists and the Cleveland Press Club. 
 
Cristin is a complete "newsy" and passionate about the chance to help people and create change in the community through her consumer reporting. She grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and studied at West Virginia University where she graduated Cum Laude. Her hobbies include running, traveling, and exploring. Her travels have taken her around the world, with stops in Cuba, Brazil, India, South Africa, Korea, and Japan.
