SAN DIEGO - 10News/KGTV was honored with the Best Newscast EMMYs for its respected Morning, Evening and Weekend newscasts on June 14, 2014. It is the second year in a row that the ABC affiliate has walked away with all three major award statues!
"I couldn't be prouder of our news team, and our station as a whole," said 10News News Director Joel Davis. "These honors reflect once again how our efforts to be San Diego's source for important news each and every day are not only good, but recognized."
"This news team works incredibly hard to deliver the type of news that San Diegan's have come to depend on," said ABC10/KGTV VP and General Manager Jeff Block. "I am pleased to be a part of San Diego's Best Newscast station."
In addition to the sweep of the Best Newscast honors, 10News was awarded the coveted golden statues in 12 categories overall, winning more EMMY categories than any other San Diego television station.
