County Receives More Doses Of H1N1 Vaccine Shot
6 Public Health Centers, 1 Clinic Receive 200 Doses

SAN DIEGO -- Thousands of people lined up at Oak Valley Middle School Saturday morning hoping for a shot of the H1N1 vaccine. The vaccine was available for Poway Unified School District students, their siblings and pregnant women.Over 4000 doses of the vaccine were distributed at four schools in the district. By early afternoon all vaccine doses had been distributed.According to the HHSA, additional vaccine will arrive in San Diego County over the coming weeks and months.
To date, 33 deaths in San Diego County have been linked to the H1N1 pandemic. A total of 617 people have been hospitalized with the virus locally.
